Replacing the air filter is an easy way to keep your motorcycle or scooter running at its best.
Air filters trap foreign objects like dust and dirt, preventing it from entering (and damaging) the engine. Most air filters are made from a special resin-impregnated "paper" or foam. The paper or foam catches and holds the dirt or particles present in the air.
After a period of time the filter will be covered with dirt, which will greatly reduce the amount of air that can flow through the filter. If your engine is Not getting eNough air it will run with reduce efficiently and power.
